Dr Dipali Gandhi, Assistant Professor has been sanctioned a grant of Rs. 57,000/-for a research project by Sardar Patel University. The Theme of the project is Teaching Science through Cooperative method. Congratulation !
As part of EPC in Theatre in Education, the student scripted street plays on varied social themes and presented the plays in front of a group of 70 senior citizens. One of the objectives of the event was also to bring smiles on faces of senior citizens by welcoming them to the college. The Senior citizens also shared their experience and offered a few bits of advice to students.
Dr Sulabha Natraj was invited as a guest speaker at a National Conference on Environmental Education organized by Dr D Y Patel College of Education; Pimpri Pune. The event that was organized on 7yh -8th February was attended by over 70 participants. Dr Dipali Gandhi also presented a paper at this conference.
On 16/02/2017 Dr Sulabha Natraj offered her service as a Resource Person at the HRD Centre at Sardar Patel University at an Orientation Programme attended by 35 participants. The theme of the session was Micro Teaching. On 23/02/2017 She also was a Resource Person at a National Conference organized by CHARUSAT, a technological university at Changa, Gujarat The Theme of her Session was Outcome Based Education.
The Career Development & Counseling cell at the college is currently organizing practice session for students to get ready for placements scheduled on 6th & 7th March, 2017.
Dr Sulabha Natraj appointed as the Dean, Faculty of Education & Chairperson, Board of Studies, Sardar Patel University.
Dr. C L Patel, Chairman, Charutar Vidya Mandal, conferred upon the ‘Vishwa Gurjari (Global Gujarati) Award by the Chief Minister,Shri Vijay Rupaniji. We take pride in our leader.
Indian Sports were organised under Sports and Yoga band. Students were encouraged to play Indian Games such as Kabbadi, Aataapaataa, Shatranj, Gulli-Danda.
Dr. Bahrti Rathore rendered her services as a judge at Anandalaya, NDDB, at Dr. Verghese Kurien Memorial Interschool Debate Competition.
Dr. Bharti Rathore and Dr. Dipali Gandhi attended a workshop ‘UDAAN’ under Women Development Cell conducted by Archana Charitable Trust, Anand in collaboration with SEMCOM.
A consultancy programme was conducted for the teachers of Gujarati Medium School run by SRKSM trust. In all 60 teachers participated. Dr. Sulabha Natraj, Dr. Dipali Gandhi and Ms. Bhumika Mangrola were the resource persons.
The College received recognition under
section 2(f) & 12(b) of the UGC Act 1956, on 18th
Ms. Jeenu John, M.Ed. scholar secured the highest marks at
the College level in the academic year 2013-2014 and was awarded
the Parshwanath Reyalti Private Ltd. Gold Medal by the Sardar
Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar.
Sapna Rathi topped the B.Ed. Advanced (English Medium) examination
and was awarded Dr. C. L. Patel Anupam Gold Medal for securing
the highest marks for external theory examination, held by
Sardar Patel University in April 2014.
Congratulations to Dr. Dipali Gandhi, faculty at the College,
for successfully completing her Doctor of Philosophy in Education.
The topic of her research study was 'Effectiveness of Group
Learning Approaches in teaching of science and technology'.
Congratulations to Dr. Chirag Darji, faculty at the College,
for successfully completing his Doctor of Philosophy in Education.
The topic of his research study was 'Development and Try out
of Sensitivity Development programme for B. Ed. students'.
